About Mary Martha Hoffius, RN

I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1996. l am originally from Southeast Arkansas but have lived in Northwest Arkansas for last 28 years. I married my husband 31 years ago and we have two grown children (my step-children) and two beloved granddaughters.

After graduating in 1996 and obtaining my R.N. license, I began my nursing career at Northwest Medical Center as a Medical/Surgical Nurse where I worked for several years. The Medical/Surgical floor was a wonderful training ground for a new nurse because of the variety of illnesses and surgeries that a new nurse can witness and learn from. In April of 1999, I then accepted a position with Dr. Mark W. Powell at Northwest Orthopedics (now Powell Orthopedics). I have spent the last 18 years working in orthopedics and during this time, I obtained my Orthopedic Nurses' Certification (ONC), which certifies me as a specialist in orthopedics. During this time I have done orthopedic exams, applied casts, administered intra articular injections. I have cared for trauma patients in the Emergency Room, provided wound care, and assisted the doctor with hospital rounds and a multitude of orthopedic procedures. I am certified in Basic Life Support, I am a Certified Laser Technician and I am certified to administer Botox and Dermal Fillers.

Skin Ink & Laser is a physician-owned business. I am excited to have been involved in the development of Skin Ink & Laser and I look forward to serving our customers at Skin Ink & Laser in its day-to-day operations.

I am a firm believer that you should be the best that you can be, no matter what your age. I love nursing and I feel so thankful to have a real passion for my work. I feel very fortunate to live and to serve the people of Northwest Arkansas.
